No Finish Line Running to direct Apple Harvest Day 5K Road Race
Popular road race looking to attract families

With a staff of six Road Runner Club of America (RRCA) certified coaches, No Finish Line Running (NFLR) has been selected to direct the Apple Harvest Day 5K Road Race in Dover on Saturday, October 1.
According to Coach Amy Spencer, the entire NFLR team jumped at the opportunity. “Being a part of this race was a no brainer for us,” she said. “We couldn't be happier to be involved with it.”
Held at the 32nd annual Apple Harvest Day, which attracted an estimated 60,000 people last year, the race is USATF certified and winds through historic downtown Dover. Large spectator crowds help to create one of the more festive backdrops of any race on the Seacoast.

For NFLR Founder Mike Davis, the chance to direct one of the premier races on the Seacoast represents “a big show of faith” in what they are doing as an organization.
“We have developed quite a team of coaches and worked very hard to bring a level of sophisticated coaching to the everyday runner,” he said. “Our selection to direct this race is a testament to our work and running philosophy. I could not be more proud of our team.

Regarding the outcomes he hopes NFLR can work to achieve, he cited an increase in registration numbers as well as an enhanced experience for participants before, during and after the race. He said NFLR is also working to develop a promotion to attract families, too.
“We want to promote families to run together, so we are going to offer some fun prizes and promotions to encourage that,” he said. “While the race will attract top athletes, it is also a great chance to bring families together. Stay tuned for details.”
