The season is launching with a “Get your garden started” challenge. Plant starts, vegetable and flower seedlings, and even compost can be found at market to inspire this year’s gardening. So, for the month of May, the Seacoast Growers Association encourages local gardeners to share photos of their gardens on the Portsmouth and Exeter Farmers’ Market Facebook pages. Those posting photos will be entered in the spring garden contest for a chance to win $25 in Market Money gift certificates.

The winner will be chosen by vote at the farmers’ markets during first week of June.
