Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

A local man is facing multiple charges after a traffic incident in Dover earlier this morning.Sean P. Day, 20, of Newmarket, was arrested at around 3 a.m. on Dec. 5, and charged with reckless operation, disobeying an officer, and other violations. According to a report, a Honda Accord was driving on Route 16 in Dover and a state trooper attempted to stop it for a motor vehicle violation. The vehicle, however, refused to stop, and the trooper began pursuing the vehicle. The Honda took the 6W exit and headed west on Route 4 through Durham and into Lee. Lee Police were able to put down a spike strip near the Lee traffic circle in order to stop the vehicle.Day, the driver, was arrested after that.
