As evidenced by the first Super Bowl when the New York Giants and New England Patriots met, it was almost impossible to predict which player would shine the most and lead their team to victory.

In 2008, Giants Quarterback Eli Manning was named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLII for leading his team on what turned out to be the winning drive to secure a stunning 17-14 victory over the Patriots, who nearly achieved a perfect season and a fourth Super Bowl title.
