Portsmouth Area Musicians to Play for Great Bay
Martin England kicks off Clean Water Music Series Thursday night at the Press Room.
In an effort to inform and engage Seacoast residents on the health of the Great Bay and Hampton/Seabrook estuaries, The Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership (PREP) kicks off its Clean Water Music Series (www.CleanWaterMusic.com) on Thursday June 14 at The Press Room in Portsmouth.
As the first of four scheduled shows, the evening will feature musical performances by Martin England and Back on the Train and an information table that provides helpful tips from PREP on what residents can do to lessen the amount of pollution flowing into our rivers lakes, marshes and estuaries.
“When developing the idea for the Clean Water Music Series, it was important to create an experience that would allow residents to learn more about what we, as a community, can do to protect the places we love and enjoy,” explains Jill Farrell, Community Impact Manager of PREP.

“In return for allowing PREP to host an information table at an upcoming show, we’re offering both bands and music venues the opportunity to further promote their event to our community via our organization’s online concert calendar, bio page and social media efforts,” adds Jill Farrell.
