Portsmouth Police Investigating Rental Car Theft Incident

Investigators are asking for the public's help after the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Mirona Road was hit on Saturday night.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Investigators inside of the Portsmouth Police Department area asking for the public’s help finding out who burglarized a local business on Saturday night. According to police, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Mirona Road was hit on Feb. 10, 2018. Suspects forced entry into the business and stole four vehicles from the lot. They also attempted to steal a safe, according to a report.

Police also believe that the suspects stole a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee from a nearby business which was used in the commission of the burglary at Enterprise, according to police.

Portsmouth Police Detectives and members of the Crime Scene Team responded to process the scene and are working in conjunction with law enforcement agencies in Massachusetts. Two vehicles, however, were recovered by law enforcement agencies in Massachusetts.
