Portsmouth Woman Arrested in Dover
New Hampshire State Police allege that Christina Race refused to stop for a violation.

A local woman was arrested early this morning after a traffic violation in Dover.
Christina A. Race, 31, of Portsmouth, was arrested at around 3 p.m. on Dec. 7, and charged with disobeying a police officer.
According to a report, a trooper on Washington Street in Dover attempted to stop Race, who was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck, for a motor vehicle violation.

Race allegedly refused to stop and the trooper pursued the pickup truck.
“The pursuit lasted only a short time, and was terminated when the driver turned into a driveway on Prospect Street in Dover, where she was taken into custody without incident,” according to Sgt. John Hennessey.

Race was transported to the Dover Police Department where she was processed and released. She’s due in court on Jan. 13, 2015.

According to online reports, back in May, Race was taken into protective custody in Rye, after police were called to a suspicious auto incident on Ocean Boulevard.
