Rochester Man Charged With Attempted Rape: Portsmouth Police Log

PORTSMOUTH, NH — John A. Famolare, 70, of Buckminster Way in Portsmouth, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. on March 30, 2018, for conduct after an accident. He was arrested on a warrant.

A 14-year-old was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on March 29, 2018, on a simple assault charge. Police were sent to Chase Home on Middle Road for a report of a woman whose foot was stomped on by a resident.

Matthew E. Patten, 36, of Trinity Circle in Rochester, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. on March 29, 2018, for domestic violence-simple assault and attempt to commit domestic violence-sexual assault. He was arrested on a warrant.

Nicholas S. Fudge, 28, of Portsmouth Avenue in Greenland, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. on March 28, 2018, for driving while intoxicated, driving after revocation or suspension, resisting arrest or detention, disobeying an officer, solid line violation, and open container. Police received a report from an establishment on Islington Street about an intoxicated driving in a white SUV. Police found the vehicle and pulled it over. The registered owner, according to dispatch, had a suspended license.

Travis Bisson, 20, of Milton Road in Rochester, was arrested at 10:35 p.m. on March 1, 2018, for stalking and default or beach of bail conditions. He was arrested on a warrant.

James M. Lawson, 73, of Granby Road in Granby, CT, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. on March 1, 2018, for driving while intoxicated and traffic control devices. Police were sent to a report of a crash at Gosling Road and the Spaulding Turnpike North. Portsmouth Fire and Rescue teams were also sent to the scene. After checking a patient, one man was arrested.
