Sake Portsmouth Sake Tasting

Sake Portsmouth– the new popular destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine and a noted celebrity hotspot – is offering a variety of delicious sake cocktails featuring premier sake brand Gekkekian. Sushi Pairings from the kitchen will also be served!

To expand on the spirit for which this holiday was created, Gekkekian sommelier Jon Hildreth will be on hand for tastings of a selection of sake from the Japanese premium brand as well as provide insight into the deep tradition of sake and its place in history. Hildreth, an industry veteran, has been creating sake cocktails for Gekkeikan, one of the oldest family-operated businesses in the world and is the world’s leading sake brands. Gekkeikan Sake is naturally brewed and contains no added sulfites.

The Sake tasting will be held on April 30th, 2015 at Sake Portsmouth located at 141 Congress St. in Portsmouth. Tastings start at 6 to 8 p.m.
