Sanders Speaking in Rollinsford Sept. 27
Possible 2016 presidential candidate to talk at the Strafford County Democratic Committee's Fall Celebration.

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont will be the featured speaker at the Strafford County Democratic Committee’s Fall Celebration.
The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Martel-Roberge American Legion Hall at 551 Foundry Street in Rollinsford.
Sanders is serving his second term in the United States Senate after previously representing Vermont for 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has always caucused with the Democratic Party. Currently he chairs the Veterans Affairs Committee, and serves on four other Senate committees. The Senator was recently honored by the American Legion with its prestigious Patriot Award for his leadership in enacting legislation aimed at improving the Veteran’s Affairs system.

Ann Wright, chairwoman of the Strafford County Democratic Committee stated, “We are honored to host Senator Sanders. He speaks openly about issues that affect middle-class Americans such as education, the environment and debt.”
National, state and local candidates and their representatives have been invited to this event.Tickets can be purchased through the StraffordCountyDemocrats.org website. The cost is $25 per ticket. There will be food, live music and a cash bar.

All proceeds from the event will be used to support Democratic candidates in Strafford County.
