Seacoast Artisans Fine Arts Show Benefits Food Gathering Efforts

The 21st annual show takes place on Saturday and includes art, handmade soaps, and clothes and will benefit Gather's Meals For Kids program.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Local residents have the opportunity to support Seacoast-area artisans as the 21st annual holiday fine arts and craft show will take place this weekend.

The annual celebration of all things artisan is the longest running show of its kind in the Seacoast and will take place from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. on Saturday at The Mall at Fox Run in Newington. The show includes handmade goods from soaps, woodcarvings, jewelry, original works of art, homemade clothing, pottery and home goods.

This year, Seacoast Artisans has partnered with the Mall at Fox Run and the Gather Meals For Kids program which provides free fresh food and nutritious food for children and teenagers around the community.

Rather than asking a price of admission for the show, a suggested donation to Gather is being requested for visitors to the show. Artisans who are participating in the show are also donating an artistic creation to Gather which will be raffled off at the show. Gather will have representatives at the mall to collect donations which will support the initiative.
