Seacoast Crime Stoppers Officers Scholarships
Scholarships were awarded to student going into law enforcement or children of law enforcement employees in the community.

Seacoast Crime Stoppers is pleased to announce the 2015 recipients of the Annual SCS Academic Scholarship Awards for Academic achievement to graduating seniors intending to pursue a career in law enforcement or whose parent is currently in law enforcement within a SCS member community.
This year’s recipients are Haley Cameron Pereira of Kittery, ME, Kasey Renee Malasky of Newmarket and Cameron J. Curtin of York, ME.
Pereira is a graduate of R.W. Trap Academy planning to pursue a career in criminal profiling and will be attending St. Michaels College majoring in Psychology and Criminology. Malasky is a graduate of Newmarket High School and will be attending Keene State College. Malasky’ career goal is to become a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery at Boston Children’s Hospital. Curtin is a York High School graduate and will be attending Norwich University as an International Studies major and member of the Corps of Cadets. Upon graduation, Curtin will be commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army where he hopes to become a member of the Special Forces.

Each scholarship recipient will receive $750.
Seacoast Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization serving the communities of Portsmouth, Durham, Exeter, Greenland, Kensington, New Castle, Newfields, Newington, Newmarket, Rye and Stratham and Eliot, Kittery, and York, ME. Its mission is to promote law and order and the better enforcement of existing laws by assisting the police departments of these member communities.
