Seacoast Pathways Offering Educational Program on Mental Health

Educational Series Part of Efforts to Reduce Stigma

Seacoast Pathways, a non-clinical mental health recovery center in Portsmouth, has begun a new educational series designed to bring the community together and feel comfortable talking about mental illness. Events will be monthly and held at the organization's clubhouse at 155 Brewery Lane in Portsmouth.

On Thursday March 12 at 7 pm the Portsmouth Police Dept. will deliver a presentation on new updates for how police respond to those in a mental health crisis. Future events include presentations from the NH Department of Education's Student Wellness Bureau on how our schools are helping students cope emotionally in light of today's stressful events.

Other topics being processed are a presentation by a veteran, "Moth"- like storytelling by those experiencing mental health issues, workshops on mental health and wellness activities.
