Seacoast Science Center Offers New Virtual Ocean Trivia Series

RYE—Seacoast Science Center (SSC) announces a new six-event Virtual Ocean Trivia Series, which kicks off Thursday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. The series is designed to provide a fun and safe way for nature enthusiasts to learn about the diverse wildlife and resources of the Gulf of Maine and World Ocean.

The Virtual Ocean Trivia series features both family-style and pub-style games. Family-style games focus on the Gulf of Maine and World Ocean and pub-style challenges cover ocean-themed topics including marine science, sports, music, pop-culture, history, and more.

Family teams and individuals are welcome to participate, and must register in advance of the event. Prizes will be awarded to top scoring teams.

While Virtual Ocean Trivia is free to play, participants are encouraged to make a donation when they register to support the non-profit. Funds raised will support SSC’s mission to spark curiosity, enhance understanding, and inspire conservation of our Blue Planet.
