The Seacoast Wind Ensemble celebrated Music in Our Schools month with student musicians at the Shapleigh Middle School in Kittery
The Seacoast Wind Ensemble (SWE) marked Music in Our Schools month by performing with student musicians at the Shapleigh Middle School in Kittery on Wednesday, March 18, at 7pm. Music in Our Schools Month (MIOS) is organized by the National Association for Music Education and provides young musicians with the special opportunity to play with adult, community-level performers. MIOS Month highlights the long reach of music education and shows how it can foster artistic endeavors throughout the life-span, enriching our local communities.
