Sounds of the Season with the Seacoast Wind Ensemble

The Seacoast Wind Ensemble performs December holiday concerts in Exeter and Portsmouth

The Seacoast Wind Ensemble (SWE) will perform two holiday concerts in December: Saturday, December 12, 7:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Exeter, 2 Spring Street, Exeter, NH; and Sunday, December 13, 3:00pm at the First United Methodist Church, 129 Miller Ave, Portsmouth, NH. SWE performs under the direction of Mark Zielinski.

SWE, established in 1984, is a 50-piece symphonic band, based out of Exeter, New Hampshire. Comprised of musicians from all professional occupations and trades, SWE performs annually throughout seacoast New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.

SWE is directed by Conductor and Music Director, Mark Zielinski, who serves as Lecturer of Music Education at the University of New Hampshire and Assistant Conductor, Jonathan Roth, who is Music Director of the Shapleigh School in Kittery, Maine.

The holiday program will feature traditional holiday music, including Carol of the Bells, Christmas medleys, and everyone’s favorite - Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.” There’s sure to be something new and something familiar for everyone in the audience! The concerts are free and open to the public. Donations are welcome at the door.
