Tesla to Open Supercharger Station in Town

Tesla is planning to open a Supercharger station in Portsmouth so drivers can quickly juice up their cars in the Northeast corner of the country, according to NHPR.

In the first 20 minutes, Superchargers can provide vehicles with 150 miles worth of energy.

BostInno reported the New Hampshire station will bring the region’s total count of speedy charging station to ten. The other nine are spread out between Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island.

Tesla also shared this week that Panasonic has agreed to help build its gigafactory, a giant battery making facility that the electric car manufacturer needs to deliver on its forecasted $824 million in sales.
