Shining will be concluding Prescott Park Arts Festival’s Service Credit Union
Movie Series on Saturday, September 7 starting at dusk. The Shining (1980),
directed by Stanley Kubrick, is well known as one of the most classic horror
films of this generation. The plot follows a family’s unexplained and
disturbing encounters with an evil presence while residing in an isolated
hotel. Festival goers can enjoy some of the most
popular and cherished films of all time, like The Shining, under the stars in Portsmouth’s Prescott Park.
