For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

Early this morning, this week's Fugitive of the Week was located in a Portsmouth hotel. Michael Polchies, 33, was last known to live in Somersworth, and was wanted on an outstanding parole warrant issued by the N.H. State Parole Board. Polchies was on parole in New Hampshire due to an original conviction and sentence for possession and sales of drugs. During this investigation, law enforcement heard rumors that Polchies was in possession of a firearm and was "going to shoot it out with police." This morning, information was developed that Polchies was currently in a Portsmouth hotel with his fugitive girlfriend, Kristen Temple. Temple was also wanted on an outstanding parole warrant, due to an original conviction and sentence for drug offenses (three counts).Submitted text.
