Winter Storm Jonas Update: Wind Gusts, Possible Flurries

The storm is going to miss the Granite State. But if you're traveling out of New Hampshire, it's going to be a nightmare.

PORTSMOUTH, NH – While earlier this week there was a potential major snowstorm threat for New Hampshire, Winter Storm Jonas is not going to hit us. Expect possible flurries in the southern part of the state and wind gusts along the Seacoast.

However, if you’re traveling out of New Hampshire, here’s what you need to know: Emergency notices have been issued from Virginia up the East Coast to New York City and Long Island, with 12 to 24 inches expected in these states. Up to seven inches of snow is expected in southern Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
