Woman Arrested for Fraudulent Prescription
NHSP alleged that Julie Kean attempted to obtain a controlled drug by fraud or deceit at Rite Aid

The New Hampshire State Police Narcotics and Investigations Drug Diversion Section received a complaint that a fraudulent prescription for a controlled drug had recently been called into the Somersworth Rite Aid Pharmacy for a local woman and later arrested her on a drug charge.
Julie Kean, 44, of High Street in Somersworth, was arrested on July 17, 2015, and charged with attempting to obtain a controlled drug by fraud or deceit.

According to a report, Kean allegedly received an authorized prescription from a physician’s office in Durham, which was later reportedly confirmed to be false. On July 16, 2015, Kean came into the Somersworth Rite Aid Pharmacy in an attempt to procure the original phone in prescription. Subsequently, Kean was taken into custody without incident for attempting to obtain a controlled drug by fraud or deceit.
Kean was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date to appear at the 7th Circuit District Division Dover Court for Oct. 13.
