Several new restaurants have opened in Portsmouth in recent months. Below are their average ratings on Yelp based and review excerpts.

• Five Guys (5 stars) "Great, fresh, food at a reasonable price. Burgers with any and all toppings for no extra charge, and delicious fries."
• Tavola (5 stars) "Fabulous authentic Italian. I had their special of scallops on a lobster risotto ... took half home it was filling but delicious. Nice atmosphere, very comfortable. Service was also very good."
• Budha O (4 stars) "Amazing what they have done with the space. Beautifully decorated, nothing else like it in Portsmouth. Started off with the Veuve Moulton cocktail and worth every bit of its $16! The sushi was fantastic."
• Enrico's Deli (3 stars) "We had the Chicken Parm sub. (The) chicken tasted refrigerated and the sauce tasted like a canned sauce. Overpriced for what you get."
• The Rosa (2 ½ stars) "This is not a good Boston, NYC, New Haven caliber Italian restaurant however it does pretty good for NH when you are not up for a drive."
• Cemita Shack (2 ½ stars) "Although the food was very good, it felt really expensive for the portion. Two Cemita sandwiches, two orders of fries and a couple of cokes came in at a startling $30.00 and change."
