2 Residents Report Hearing Gun Shots
Numerous graffiti incidents were also reported around town.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Oct. 21
- 8:22 a.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Cross Street.
- 8:47 a.m.: A Hutch Road resident reported that a rifle was stolen from his residence.
- 9:14 a.m.: Police received a report of graffiti written on the Haigh School on School Street.
- 9:29 a.m.: Police received a report of graffiti on a building on Main Street.
- 10:07 a.m.: Police received a report that graffiti was spray-painted on Salem Laundry on Main Street.
- 10:16 a.m.: A caller on Stiles Road reported hearing gun shots in a nearby wooded area.
- 10:43 a.m.: A caller reported some spray paint damage to his property on Stone Post Road.
- 2:37 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on South Broadway.
- 5:45 p.m.: A caller on Olde Wooded Road reported hearing shots fired.
