
The weekend of January 10th through the 12th saw a number of games for the New Hampshire Saints Youth Hockey program. The weekend also included a number of victories and outstanding performances.
Saturday, January 11th
The weekend began with the Mite team playing strong in a 4-2 loss to Nashoba at Lawrence Academy. Andy Sylvain and Tyler Kirby provided the offense with a goal apiece, while the team received solid goaltending from Hunter Marcin.The Squirt team looked strong in their 6-0 win over Agawam Saturday night at the Lawrence Valley Forum. There were 2 hat tricks; one from Kyle Whitley and the other from Macklin Hudon. David Landry also recorded an assist on the second goal. Congratulations also goal to Cam Grant, who recorded his first shut out in the victory.
Sunday, January 12th
A late Saturday game did not slow down the Squirt team as they came away with a 2-2 tie against Tewksbury in a 6:30AM game in Haverhill. Bobby Mondello scored the first goal, with assists from Kyle Whitley and Macklin Hudon. Dylan Nutter scored the second goal unassisted.The Saints PeeWee team on continuing their winning ways, this time with a 5-2 victory on Sunday over Newton at the Lawrence Valley Forum. The win keeps the team near the top of their divisional standings in the Valley Hockey League.
The Bantam 1 team also continues to play strong, posting a 7-1 victory over Somerville in Haverhill to stay at the top of their VHL division.
