Align Credit Union Supports the Manolis Family Foundation's "Project Helping Hands"
Annual drive provides a complete Thanksgiving dinner to families throughout Merrimack Valley.
Align Credit Union was proud to be one of the leading sponsors of this year’s “Project Helping Hands” Thanksgiving Food Drive organized by the Manolis Family Foundation, Inc. The annual drive provides a complete Thanksgiving dinner to families throughout Merrimack Valley.
On Sunday, November 22, over 200 volunteers, including Align’s Community Crew, packed bags with dry goods for a wholesome Thanksgiving meal. On Monday, November 23, the bags were delivered along with turkeys to area families as well as nursing homes, women’s shelters and the Dracut Food Pantry.
“The Manolis Family Foundation, Inc. has been providing Thanksgiving meals for families in need for over 22 years,” said Foundation Board Member and Treasurer, Nick Manolis. “Align Credit Union is an important part of our Foundation’s community outreach program. Their support and belief in community responsibility is invaluable. The Foundation, in partnership with Align Credit Union, was able to feed over 2,000 families in the Merrimack Valley area with a complete Thanksgiving meal.”
