Alleged Strangler from Pennsylvania Arrested at Red Roof Inn: Log

Salem Police also arrest Lawrence residents on drug, shoplifting charges and teen arrested on drug charge near the library.

SALEM, NH - Alan Rivera, 45, of Essex Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 11:46 a.m. on May 3, 2016, for possession of a controlled drug (marijuana/hashish, less than 5 grams) and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon. He turned himself in on a warrant.

James J. Iannazzo, 45, of South Bowdoin Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on May 3, 2016, for willful concealment. Also arrested was Amanda L. McKay, 34, of South Bowdoin Street in Lawrence, for driving after revocation or suspension and a warrant out of Nashua. Police were sent to the Ski Haus on South Broadway for a shoplifting incident. A man reportedly fled the area while attempting to get picked up in a blue Hyundai. The vehicle was stopped and both were arrested.

Kyle Matey, 18, of Birch Hill Road in Salem, was arrested at 1:18 p.m. on May 3, 2016, for conduct after an accident. He turned himself in on a warrant.

Ignazio A. Saladino, 31, of Kendall Road in Tewksbury, MA, was arrested at 12:17 p.m. on May 4, 2016, for willful concealment (two prior convictions) and possession of a controlled drug. He was arrested at Market Basket on South Broadway and released on $2,000 cash bail.

Police were sent to the Aldi Market on South Broadway at around 2:42 p.m. on May 4, 2016, to investigate an indecent exposure complaint. A woman reported that a man in a blue Ford Explorer pulled up beside her vehicle and she saw him masturbating in the vehicle, according to the report. The vehicle later took off. A vehicle plate was reported.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested at 3:10 p.m. on May 4, 2016, for transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. Outside the Kelley Library on Main Street, a caller reported that a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer reportedly hit a pedestrian barrel in the intersection and was “driving poorly” on Main Street. The vehicle was stopped on Howard Street.

Dean K. Rowles, 43, of Glen Hope Boulevard in Irvona, PA, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. on May 4, 2016, for second-degree assault-domestic violence and domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to the Red Roof Inn on Red Roof Lane for a report of a domestic incident. A woman alleged that a man tried to choke her, according to a witness. Rowles was later arrested, refused services, and was taken to Brentwood.
