Hampstead Woman Found Dead At Home; Cause May Take Months To Determine

CONCORD, NH — A 33-year-old Hampstead woman whose body was found inside her home on Merryfield Lane is the subject of an active death investigation, according to information released by Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Hampstead Police Chief Robert Kelley.

The woman was identified as Brittney Hoehn, 33.

Her body was discovered inside her home after a call to 911 on Sunday morning.

New Hampshire’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Hoehn’s body but indicated further analysis was needed before a determination could be made on the cause and manner of death.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation. It also stated there was no known threat to the public at this time because all known parties have been identified. Officials did not release additional details about what led to the 911 call or what investigators found at the home. No information was provided about whether anyone else was inside the residence when Hoehn was found. No additional information is expected to be released until a determination of cause and manner of death is made. That determination may not be made for approximately two to three months due to the time required for additional analysis, officials said.
