The ceremony featured remarks from U.S. Rep. Maggie Goodlander, who highlighted the importance of continued investment in local businesses and communities.

The bank also announced $10,000 donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem and NeighborWorks Southern NH. The donations will support organizations that make what it described as a meaningful difference throughout the region.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests continued the event at The Rooftop at The Artisan for light refreshments, networking and conversations with business and community leaders, according to the Chamber.

The Salem opening is part of Needham Bank's broader community focus. The bank has operated for more than 130 years and has helped individuals, families and businesses pursue goals that include starting and growing a business, purchasing a home, building financial security, advancing a career, raising a family and strengthening communities.

The Chamber also said Needham Bank's giving supports health and human services, social justice, education, affordable housing and community development.

"The Southern NH Chamber of Commerce congratulates Needham Bank on its new Salem location and is excited to welcome the bank to the community," the org said.

The Chamber said it remained focused on supporting local businesses through events, advocacy, networking, and community engagement as it works to foster what it described as a vibrant and connected regional economy.
