The move was announced by Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott.

"Karoline's firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today's political landscape," she said. "We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all FOX News Media platforms."

Leavitt said she was "grateful for the opportunity to continue appearing" on the network as "an official member of the extraordinary team." She added, "I look forward to bringing my unique perspective from my experience as White House Press Secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox's millions of viewers across their many platforms."

Leavitt most recently served as the 36th White House press secretary during President Donald Trump's second administration until August 2026. She was the youngest person in American history to hold the position. Leavitt regularly addressed the White House press corps and represented the administration on domestic and foreign policy issues.

Leavitt also served as national press secretary for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign and said she was the Republican candidate for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District in 2022. Before that, Leavitt served as communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik, and earlier worked in Trump's first administration as a presidential writer and assistant press secretary.

Leavitt graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2019 with a degree in politics and communication. While in college, she interned at Fox News Channel during the 2016 presidential election, according to the company. Leavitt lives in New Hampshire with her husband, Nick, and their two young children.
