SALEM, NH — A "dangerous" escaped convict who gave the Salem cops the slip Tuesday night has been captured, police said.
Daquhan Cromer, 29, was "wanted on an escape warrant from New Hampshire State Prison and in connection with multiple felonies in Salem," the Salem Police Department said in a media release that called Cromer "armed and dangerous."
On Wednesday, the Salem police issued a media release saying Cromer was captured in Lowell, Massachusetts.
"Cromer is in custody in Lowell, where he will face a charge of being a Fugitive from Justice in Massachusetts," the release said. "Salem Police will seek extradition to have him returned to New Hampshire to face additional charges."
