Audubon Society Visits Salem Family Resources

The Learning Cooperative Preschool and Salem Family Resources Parenting & Play Groups ended their summer fun with a visit from the Audubon Society.
The focus of the summer groups; “Little Hands, Big World” featured information on the environment for the young participants coordinated by UNH student intern, Sarah Oliveira. The Audubon Society visit highlight was a demonstration of reptiles that are native to New Hampshire.

“It is important to get information about the effects we have on the environment to the younger generations”, said Oliveira, “In hopes these learned practices about conservation will become commonplace as these children get older.”
Registration for fall programs continues for limited spaces in both programs; Parenting & Play Groups and The Learning Cooperative Preschool enrichment and 4 year old class.
