Best Selling Author Signs Books in Atkinson to Help Salem Animal Rescue League
David Rosenfelt, a writer who also rescues dogs, is the perfect choice to help raise dough for the homeless pets at the Salem shelter.

Humorist and best-selling author David Rosenfelt is coming on Sept. 15 to the Kimball Library in Atkinson to sign books and talk about how he started rescuing dogs, according to Kristie Nardini, director of development for the Salem Animal Rescue League.
"He is an animal advocate and loves to support shelters so he is partnering with us and the library for this event," she said.

The admission is free, but reservations are required. The first session starts at 3 p.m., and the second session follows at 6:30 p.m.
Barnes and Noble will also be selling his books at the signing, and part of the proceeds will go to SARL, Nardini said.

There are also going to be raffles, and one prize is a mention in his next book, she added.
