Blasting Work Resumes on I-93 North

Expect rolling roadblocks and minor delays starting on Tuesday.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announced that blasting work is set to begin on I-93 northbound between mile markers 7.8 and 8.4, north of the weigh station in Windham, according to a press statement.

This work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Blasting operations will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. Rolling roadblocks with minor delays can be expected on both I-93 the northbound and southbound travel ways.

This work is weather dependent. Message boards and uniformed officers will be used along I-93 to provide advanced information and direct motorists through the work zone.

This work is part of the construction of the final northbound I-93 roadway alignment and northbound ramps in the vicinity of Exit 3. Weaver Bros. Construction of Bow, is the general contractor for the $32.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2016.
