After a long wait, and a crazy day, we have results for the 2012 Salem town and schools elections.
Selectman candidates Jim Keller and Everett McBride won seats on the Board of Selectmen in a five-way race, while Bob Bryant, Dane Hoover and incumbent Paul Huard were elected to the Budget Committee.
The nonbinding curbside pickup referendum overwhelmingly failed, the Senate Bill 2 warrant article overwhelmingly passed, while the Phase II school renovation bond narrowly missed the 60 percent threshold needed for passage.

All 10 union contracts between the town and school ballots passed, as well as both the town and school operating budgets.
The Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment will remain elected following the results of Tuesday's vote.
