Brockway Named Salem High School Staff Member of the Month
A parent nominated Brockway and said he put in extra effort to help a boy with this math studies.
Bob Brockway, a Math teacher, was selected as the Salem High School Staff Member of the Month for November.
His nomination by a parent recognized him for his dedication and commitment to her son, who was trying to improve his grades.
“Mr. Brockway stayed after school on multiple days to help my son with his studies. Yesterday he received two quiz scores, and it is the first time I have seen him have a genuine smile in weeks. It is such a relief to have him back on track, and we have great admiration for Mr. Brockway and his perseverance with our child. He teaches all day and is then willing to stay longer after school instead of going home to his own family. This family is extremely appreciative.”
