Come celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Major General Lafayette’s 1825 Farewell tour across America, which included a stay at the Whitebridge Inn, right here in Salem NH! As part of this re-enactment, event sponsors The American Friends of Lafayette will provide a horse-drawn carriage that will bring Lafayette in full military attire from Salem Court House to the Field of Dreams Pavillion. Once there, he will give a historical account of his participation in the American Revolution. This is a great chance to experience Salem's colonial history! All are welcome, free of charge.
