Courtois Receives Leadership Award

Salem High School teacher feted on Dec. 5, in Arizone.

Salem High School and the National Association of Workshop Directors congratulates Michael Courtois as the 2014 Dr. Earl Reum Award winner for Region 1.

Mr. Courtois is being recognized by the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont for his contributions to the leadership education of both students and advisors.

The Dr. Earl Reum Award began in 1991 and honors the organizations’ founder, Dr. Earl Reum. It is the goal of the award to recognize one individual in each of eight regions within the nation for their role in leadership education and involvement in training advisors within the arena of student activities.

Mr. Courtois was recognized during the opening general session of the National conference on Student Activities in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday evening, Dec. 5.
