Dangerous Fugitive Arrested in NH
Joshua Ray Fields was taken into custody without incident Wednesday at a relative's residence in Nottingham.

A dangerous fugitive wanted in connection with the theft of several firearms was arrested Wednesday morning in Nottingham.
Joshua Ray Fields, 31, whose last known address was in the Epping/Raymond area, was taken into custody without incident at a relative's residence by the U.S. Marshals–N.H. Joint Fugitive Task Force.
"We are happy that Fields was taken into custody without incident," U.S. Marshal David Cargill Jr. said. "Fields' arrest was definitely a high priority based on the weapons that were stolen and the potential danger that he posed to the community."
New Hampshire State Police and the Candia Police Department had requested the assistance of the fugitive task force in an effort to assist in Fields' location and arrest.
Fields was being sought on two outstanding arrest warrants, including one for a burglary in Candia that involved the theft of several firearms. The second warrant was issued by state police for the offense of unsworn falsification in relation to the ongoing investigation into the Candia burglary and theft of firearms.
He was alleged to have been a part of a group of people that were involved in this offense. Based on the offense charged, he was considered armed and dangerous.
Fields is currently on parole for unlawful criminal restraint and assault by a prisoner. Based on these alleged new offenses, a parole violation is pending.
During this fugitive investigation, two other suspects in the case were arrested in Manchester. Ashley Angelone, 26, and Scott Plante, 28, of Notre Dame Avenue, Manchester were both wanted in connection with the same burglary and theft of firearms.
The arrests were made by members of the task force, including Rockingham, Hillsborough, Belknap and Strafford County sheriffs, deputy U.S. Marshals, and members of the Nottingham and Candia police departments.
