“As officers arrived they observed a female, screaming frantically, holding a tire iron in her hand,” Dolan alleged. “The female had several fresh cuts and had blood on her hands and the tire iron. Officers could see the female had smashed the pane glass window to one of the rooms at the Inn.”

While officers were speaking with her, they believed that she might be under the influence of drugs.

“Girgus commented she thought the people in the room had committed recent crimes and she was trying to do the right thing,” he stated. “Officers also observed extensive damage to the room as well as evidence of obvious illegal narcotics use (including an) uncapped hypodermic needles and suspected heroin.”

Girgus was arrested, refused bail, and was transported to the Rockingham County Jail after receiving treatment for injuries during the alleged window smashing fit.

Yesterday, officers on the Rockingham Park Boulevard stopped a vehicle for allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving between lanes, during freezing rain and snow, Dolan noted. The driver of the vehicle – Girgus – was allegedly found to be in possession of Suboxone and was arrested.

Police later learned that Girgus has just been released after being arraigned in the Rockingham County Superior Court for the window smashing incident. She was held overnight and was scheduled to be arraigned today in court.
