Discount Grocery Store to Open in Salem
Chain expects to open its first NH location on March 1.
The discount grocery chain ALDI is scheduled to open its first New Hampshire store at 541 South Broadway in Salem next month, the Boston Globe is reporting.
The store's grand opening is scheduled for March 1. According to the Globe, the Illinois-based chain has about 1,200 stores in 32 states, including six in Massachusetts.
The chain claims it can save customers 50 percent or more over what they'd spend at other grocery stores.

According to the town's projects website, the store would be located in the Stateline Shopping Center, next to NAMCO and Sovereign Bank.
