Driver Ejected After Crash on Route 28 in Salem
Route 28 will be closed in sections while the reconstruction team investigates the crash.
From the Salem Police:
At approximately 6:15 p.m. on June 16, 2015, the Salem Police Department was notified of a motor vehicle accident involving serious bodily injury on Route 28 by Salem Ford. Upon arrival, an officer observed two motor vehicles involved with one ejection and one entrapment.
Both operators were transported to Lawrence General Hospital with serious life threatening injuries.

The Salem Police Traffic Accident Reconstruction team (TAR) was called to the scene and continue to investigate the accident.
Route 28 will be closed for several hours, while the accident is being investigated. It will be closed at Hampshire Road on the south side of the accident and at Newbury Comics on the north side of accident.
