Early Morning Robbery Reported at 7-Eleven

Salem Police: Do you recognize this man? He allegedly hit the store on Cluff Crossing Road this morning.

SALEM, NH - The Salem Police Department is investigating a robbery which occurred early this morning at the 7-Eleven store on Cluff Crossing Road, according to an alert.

At 1:23 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2016, officers were dispatched to the store after a clerk reported that a man walked into the store and demanded him to “open the drawers,” according to Capt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department.

The man had one hand in a jacket pocket, making the clerk fear he may be in possession of a weapon, however no weapon was displayed, Dolan noted. The clerk complied with the demand and the male fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as white, approximately 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet tall, between 180 and 200 lbs., wearing black foot gear, a black winter jacket with hood, a black scarf wrapped around his face, a black and white glove on one hand and a black and blue glove on the other.
