4-H Benefit Auction at Stratham Fair

Would you like a hand stitched quilt decorating your home? Need a compost bin for your garden, a new motorcycle helmet for traveling adventures, or a shepherd’s hook for that flock of sheep? These wonderful items and more will be waiting for your bids at the 4-H Benefit Auction on Saturday, July 21, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Stratham Fair’s 4-H Exhibit Building.

Local 4-H volunteers have gathered donations from generous local craftspeople and businesses and will be offering this exciting collection of new merchandise and gift certificates at their annual auction at this year’s Stratham Fair. There is something for everyone! Visitors to the fair, supporters of 4-H, and auction fans are sure to find something they want, need, and love when they stop by the 4-H Exhibition Building on Saturday.

The 4-H Benefit Auction is sponsored by the Rockingham County 4-H Foundation. It is the major fundraiser effort to help send local youth to county, state, and national events. In addition, auction proceeds support 4-H Youth Development programs, as well as provide continuing education scholarships and recognition for 4-H youth and volunteer leaders.
