September Garden Workshops

No more cabbages, no more cukes, no more bounty for the cooks! Learn how to stretch your growing season into late fall, and even winter, at a hands-on workshop led by UNH Cooperative Extension’s Ron Christie on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The workshop is $15 per person or family, payable at the door and will be held at the Hilton Auditorium, Rockingham County Nursing Home, 117 North Road in Brentwood. To register, contact Ron Christie, Rockingham County UNH Cooperative Extension office, at (603) 679-5616 or ron.christie@unh.edu. Because of limited space, registration is required.

The final workshop of this series is Wednesday, Sept. 26: Closing Your Garden, Assessing Your Success, and Planning for Next Year. Learn the steps for putting your garden to bed for the winter, assessing this year’s success, and planning for next year’s garden.
