Facilities Audit, Budget Talk On for School Board

Only two items appear on the agenda for tonight's Salem School Board planning meeting, which starts at 7 at the Media Center: facilities audit and budget development, both important topics for the future of the school district.

from the School Board and discussion on that audit, and the associated capital project costs expected to come with the recommendations should come this evening.

The budget talk will also continue after the audit discussion. since the $60 million budget was first presented to the board.

Superintendent Michael Delahanty said he expects some "reasonably final decisions" will be made on the budget tonight before votes are taken at the Nov. 22 meeting. A presentation to the Budget Committee is expected to take place in early December.
