Farmington Woman Found with Drugs Passed Out in Vehicle: Cops

Salem Police arrested Ashley Pemberton last night on North Broadway, allegedly in possession of fentanyl and other substances.

SALEM, NH — Another day, another person found slumped over the wheel of a vehicle, allegedly with drugs, according to police. Ashley Pemberton, 31, of Farmington, was arrested on Jan. 11, 2016, for two counts of possession of a controlled drug and two counts of transporting drugs in a motor vehicle.

Police were tipped off about a possible unresponsive person in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart on North Broadway at around 10:15 p.m. last night, according to Capt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department.

“Responding officers located the vehicle and spoke with the female,” he stated. “As a result of their investigation, they discovered the female was in possession of fentanyl and additional controlled substances.”

Pemberton was eventually arrested and taken to police headquarters. She was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. Pemberton is due in Salem District Court on March 6.
