'Fugitive of the Week' Juan Zayas-Diaz Captured
Juan Zayas-Diaz was being sought on an outstanding warrant for supervised release violations stemming from a cocaine sales conviction.

Early Friday morning, members of the U.S. Marshals–NH Joint Fugitive Task Force arrested this week’s Fugitive of the Week, Juan Zayas-Diaz, in Hooksett.
Zayas-Diaz, 59, whose last known address was in Manchester, was being sought on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the U.S. District Court in Concord. The warrant was issued for supervised release violations stemming from an original conviction and 15-year federal prison sentence for cocaine sales. Based on Zayas-Diaz’s criminal history, he was considered to be armed and dangerous.
As part of the U.S. Marshal’s fugitive investigation, Zayas-Diaz's name and picture were broadcast on Patch, WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader and The Nashua Telegraph as the "Fugitive of the Week." Tips provided by the public were the key to locating Zayas-Diaz at his place of employment at a garage on Hooksett Road in Hooksett. This information was acted on by the task force on Friday morning, which led to Zayas-Diaz’s arrest without incident.
Zayas-Diaz was transported to the U.S. District Courthouse in Concord, where he will be processed and held pending his initial court appearance later today.
