FIFA Approves World Cup FanFest Watch Parties For Lowell, Lexington
The Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council and LatinX Center are bringing massive LED screens, cultural celebrations

Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council in partnership with the LatinX Center of Lowell announced today that it has officially received approval from FIFA to host a series of World Cup watch parties in Lowell. The Lowell FanFest Soccer Watch Parties will bring the excitement of the 2026 World Cup to Massachusetts' Revolutionary Valley from June 13 to July 19.
Fans from Greater Lowell and beyond are invited to celebrate the pinnacle of international soccer with live match broadcasts on giant screens, delicious food vendors, live music, family-friendly activities, and unforgettable moments throughout the tournament. The watch parties are presented by the Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council in partnership with the LatinX Center. On June 8, FIFA granted the final viewing licenses to Lowell, making it one of 17 state grant-funded events to receive permits.

Lowell will host 16 watch parties beginning on June 13 and culminating in the final match on July 19. The viewing parties will take place at either the Tsongas Center or the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
“Lowell is a city that prides itself on its diversity,” said Brian Bradbury, Executive Director of the Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council. “Together with our partners at the Latin X Center, many of the watch parties will celebrate the rich cultural communities that call Massachusetts home. Notable events include Haitian Night on June 13 (Haiti vs. Scotland), Morocco and Brazil Double Night on June 19 (Morocco vs. Scotland and Brazil vs. Haiti), Grand French Night on June 26 (Norway vs. France), and Grand Latin American Night on June 27 (Colombia vs. Portugal).

At both the Lowell Auditorium and Tsongas Center, fans can experience the matches on massive LED screens with immersive stadium-style sound and crowd energy. Attendees will celebrate the cultures, music, food, and traditions that make soccer a global phenomenon while enjoying local favorites, international cuisine, cold drinks, and a range of activities and entertainment for fans of all ages.
In addition to the Lowell events, Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council, in partnership with the town of Lexington, will host the Lexington Global Soccer Celebration June 16 to 26 on the Visitors Center Lawn, located across from the Lexington Green. This celebration will feature live broadcasts on massive outdoor LED screens with immersive sound and an exciting crowd atmosphere, providing another opportunity for soccer fans to come together and enjoy the tournament.
