Free Program on the Basics of Alzheimer's April 15
The Basics offers information about Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, the benefits of early detection, causes and risk factors.

The Alzheimer’s Association is presenting a workshop on the basic issues of Alzheimer’s and related dementias, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at the Salem Senior Center, 1 Sally Sweet Way in Salem, according to a press release.
The workshop is free and open to the public.
“Alzheimer’s disease is not a normal part of aging,” said Paul Raia, PhD, Vice President of Clinical Services, Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter. “This comprehensive program focuses on obtaining the correct diagnosis, understanding and addressing behavior and communication problems and finding local resources and support.”
