'Fried Mind' Tattooed Felon Caught

Darren Lee Bingham surrenders to U.S. Marshals in Vermont; he was wanted for failing to appear at a felon with a firearm charge.

Darren Lee Bingham, 44, was arrested on April 20, 2015, for being a fugitive from justice and a felon in possession of a firearm. He’s being held at the Northeast State Correctional Facility in St. Johnsbury, VT, on $100,000 cash bail.

According to marshals, after the publication of his Fugitive of the Week status, several tips were received by the task force which “definitely intensified the investigation in Vermont,” according to Jeffrey White, a deputy with the U.S. Marshals. As the investigation into the leads increased, with “a relentless amount of pressure on Bingham’s family and friends,” he came forward and surrendered.
